Multiple Workstations in a Single Armory
In an armory, you can efficiently set up multiple workstations using laptops, workstation computers, or tablets. These devices can be permanently mounted on rolling carts for easy mobility or moved from a designated work surface to a cart during Issue and Return transactions. This flexibility allows for seamless operations, enabling staff to quickly transition between workstations as needed while maintaining an organized and efficient workflow within the armory.
Efficient inventory audits
Modern armory management systems enhance the auditing process by integrating mobile scanners with smart devices or tablets. While an inventory simply identifies what items are present in the armory, an audit compares expected items against actual findings. The system displays all expected items based on the armory management software, and after scanning, it categorizes the results into three statuses:
- Expected and Found: Items that are present as anticipated.
- Expected and Not Found: Items that should be present but are missing.
- Unexpected and Found: Items that are present but not listed in the expected inventory.
This intelligent data display streamlines the auditing process, ensuring thorough accountability and efficient management of armory assets.
