WeaponTrackerIoT allows you to tag sidearms and longarms with advanced GSM/GPS-enabled devices, delivering continuous, real-time location tracking—anywhere, at any time.
Whether in storage, in transit, or in the field, every tagged weapon’s position is updated automatically, ensuring complete visibility, accountability, and security across your armory operations.
Global leader in weapon management systems since 2007
17+ years of experience successfully delivering technology-based armory management systems for global security, police and military forces
WeaponTrackerIoT is available out-of-the-box with all of the capabilities developed for prior clients, and is rapidly configured for each new client’s exacting data, tracking, workflow, security and reporting requirements.
Industry-leading weapon management technology
Command Center
Data and visual images provide a real-time view of the location and status of your weapons, officers and vehicles, for real-time decision making.
BLE Tracking
BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) tags provide real-time inventory data while weapons are in armories or warehouses, and custody is updated in software to officer upon exiting armory.
GSM/GPS Tracking
Weapon tags are detected by GSM cell towers and GPS satellites real-time, providing all-the-time, everywhere tracking of weapon locations, statuses and emergency events.
Unpaired Weapon(s)
If weapons become separated from an officer-of-custody, automatic alerts transmit to command center, rapid response vehicles and officers, for rapid and precise security response.
Shots Fired
Weapon tags include special motion sensor that detect shots fired, the weapon that was fired and the officer carrying the weapon, and automates alerts and security response.
Bluetooth Weapon Tracking
- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanners have range of approximately 100 meters and provide real-time inventory data of weapons in armories and warehouses.
- Scanners can be calibrated for short-range scanning and track weapons that enter or exit armories, linked to alarms and alerts to prevent unauthorized weapon removals.
Realtime GSM/GPS Tracking
- Weapons are tracked real-time via GSM cell towers and GPS satellites
- Continual visual and data communications between WeaponTrackerIoT command center, officers and vehicles.
Track stolen or misplaced weapons
- Weapon tags link to officer ID tags via Bluetooth pairing, automatically check-out weapons from the armory and assign custody to the officer when the weapon is removed from armory or warehouse.
- If a weapon is unpaired from officer (stolen, left unattended, etc.), automatic alerts are triggered to command center software, rapid response vehicles and officers-in-proximity for security response.
Detect shots fired
- Weapon firings trigger alerts to command center software, including weapon fired, location of weapon and officer-of-custody.
- Emergency alerts are automatically transmitted to Rapid Response Vehicles and Officers in proximity for security response.

Outbound Alerts and Security Response
Weapons and Rapid Response Vehicles (RRV’s) have GSM/GPS tags for real-time location tracking via GSM and GPS technologies.
- Security events trigger SMS alert messages real-time to RRV tablets and officer cell phones.

Proven software, technology and experience

The Orange County, Florida Department of Corrections includes 4,500 jail sales and 600+ security personnel providingsecurity for all facility buildings, the hospital where inmates received medical care and the Courts where inmates have legal hearings. Utilizes workstation computers with USB RFID-barcode scanner and electronic signature pad, and tablet PC’s with mobile scanner, to perform Issue/Turn-in transactions, inventories, audits and to find ‘missing’ items.

Joint Base Lewis–McChord includes Army and Air Force staff and is a training and mobilization center for all services and the only Army power projection base west of the Rocky Mountains in the United States.
WeaponTracker replaces manual process and paper-based forms with computer-based tracking of weapons, gear and ammo, with real-time software intelligence to ensure that Issues / Turn-ins follow required security and tracking protocols.

The United States Space Force in standing-up its operations discovered that the methods and operational practices for the management of weapons, gear and ammo were outdated and inefficient. Based on the significant prior experience of TrackingSystemsIoT, the Space Force selected WeaponTracker for implementation for modern armory management. System includes software, management of officer assigned weapons and weapon certifications, RFID automated Issue-Return processes, transfer-of-custody tracking and RFID inventories, with full support for tablet computing.
